There are two possible connections to the chest pains.  The chest pains scared you, even though there was no diagnosis, and you lost your appetite.  You are under a lot of stress and you are in that grouop that loses weight when under stress while most people eat more and gain more. The third is unlikely, but a  possibility.  You have some other illness that is causing weight loss and loss of appetite.  That is what you need to talk to your doctor about.
