vomiting and swollen glands

by Marnie_EMT, May 14, 2008 10:38PM
I vomited a few weeks ago due to stomach stapling.  After vomiting, I noticed my gland in my right neck was very swollen.  I called a nurse line and she explained that sometimes stomach acid and bacteria can get the gland from vomiting.  It went away in a few hours, but now it's back from vomiting 2 days ago - it didn't go away totally and now it swelled up tonight when I ate - help, what is happening?

You should be talking to the surgeon who did the surgery...he or she will know whether this is serious or something benigh to be expected....be sure and call and find out.
