Answers please.... Coffs Harbour is really lacking

Hi all, I was told by my GP for years that I didn't have endometriosis.... then in March 2013 I had an undiagnosed ovarian cyst that no-one knew about (or knew to test me for) which ruptured, sent me to hospital with HELLISH  pain, internal bleeding and when I recovered, was told I had lost an ovary, and I had 'visually proven endometriosis'! What a wake up call! Either I have it or I don't.... How can my GP get it so wrong??!?!?!
I have since had another cyst drained from my remaining ovary (April 2014) and now I have ANOTHER cyst - same 6cm size as the one from 2013. My gyno is not concerned, and my tumour markers jump around like fleas.
I will next see my gyno in April 2015. But what if I don't make it....? What if this one ruptures before then? Anyone else able to help?
Plus, this is my only remaining ovary and I REALLY want kids! I don't have a partner at the moment, and am not working, so funding egg freezing will be VERY difficult.....
Ideas please!

could not agree with ticked more...follow her advice as it is sound! Many of us have walked the endo walk and unfortunately too many of us did not get the endo specialists until much damage was done...so get to an endometriosis specialist as fast as possible and don't let any other type Dr. near you to deal with this disease!

Thank you both, but I'm not finding much support in Coffs Harbour, except my partner of 12 months. We have just been through an IVF round and are now exploring other options. All the seminars and things that I hear about would be great, but nothing happens here- even most of the meds I get prescribed, the pharmacy has never given out! I knew I was special, but really...?

First thing that you need to do is BREATHE.  There are many many women that have gone through the same experiences with this disease. That is why tens of thousands of women are raising awareness right now this month so that we have doctors trained to diagnose faster, better surgeons and tools to operate with.

Let me know where you live and I can give you some names of a good surgeon(s) around you. The key to fighting this disease is finding the best endo surgeon to excise (cut out) the disease from the root.
