I agree with ticked...Please see an endometriosis specialist! I too was stage four endometriosis which did not show up on any of the ultra sounds and scans...the gyn actually even said he did not think I had it by those tests but when he did the diagnostic lap it was so bad...organs glued together...it was so bad he thought my appendix had burst...but when he did my hysterectomy with removal of ovaries which did NOT cure my disease but did put me into instant menopause way to young...he found my appendix looked fine...it was then 7 years later that I found an endo specialist because no one believed I could have it with having had my female organs removed...and sure enough...got in and again organs all glued together...so the specialist did excision...but I still needed one more excision surgery 2 years later along with other repairs...hoping this is the end of my surgical journey...but PLEASE get into the hands of an endometriosis specialist if you want any chance of getting on with your life! Good luck!
I am sorry to hear what has happened. I guess at this point all you can do is wait to see the results. I can ask around to see if others have had this happen as I am sure it has with inexperienced surgeons.
The one thing I would recommend is finding an Endometriosis specialist and I can help you with that. This to me is the most important thing I can express to anyone who has never had surgery or has already had it. The first surgery is the most important and if you fail to have the right surgeon the first time try your best to have the best one do the second.
I know of many specialists and also I have heard tons of feedback from them as well so I can help in that department if you let me know where you live.
Usually if its cancer you would hear back right away. How long ago was your surgery? Did he say when he would call? Usually if its Cancer they would call before the 6 week post op but some places could be different.
Hi I personally haven't surgery in,a long time but this is one of my main concerns.
Did they see it on ultrasound?
So sorry hope you get good news!
