Anyone have a endometrioma on their small intestine causing symptoms?
I am 45 years old and didn't know I had endometrosis until I had a 9 centimeter endometrioma removed last year with my right ovary and follopain tube. Since then I have been having symptoms and have had a colonoscopy, transvag u/s and ct scan which shows I have an endometrioma pushing on my right small intestine, another one underneath muscle and two cysts on my right overy. I am having alot of pressure and discomfort under my right ribs. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these symptoms?
I have had Endometriosis for over 20 yrs and I am 35yrs old. I had a rectovaginal cyst and that would cause pain with sex and BM however now 6yrs after my surgery I have serious bowel pain and colonoscopy shows nothing as usual.
If its under your right ribs it could be your bowels or it could be your liver or kidneys that scar tissue has attached itself too.
The pain your are feeling is definitely the pressure from all the cysts, scar tissue and endo. It looks like you will have to have them removed as Endometriomas done resolve on their own.
Were you ever told to go on any meds after your last surgery?
