Bloody chunks in toilet after laparoscopy - is this normal?

I just had a laporoscopy 3 days ago and so far I've had a lot of pain and a fever.  I've also had some bright red blood when I urinate...the blood has stopped but for the last 1 day every time I go to the bathroom a bloody bright red, pink, and white chunk of stuff comes out of me (similar to when I'm on my period and I have huge blood clots come out of me).  There is no longer any blood in the toilet...just the chunks have blood on them.  What is this?  Is this normal?  Also, I've had painful gas pains but NO gas has been able to come out of me and I haven't had a bowel movement since the surgery 3 days ago.  Is this normal?  Should I be concerned?  I contacted my doctor's office and she had me get a vaginal ultrasound which came back fine (other than no matter how much I went to the bathroom, my bladder would stay full and the ultrasound couldn't see much around a full bladder) - but thats all she did.  She seems to disregard the pain I'm in, hasn't given me any pain medication, and when she saw I was obviously in pain she prescribed an anti-nausea medicine to help me sleep because it's supposed to make you very drowsy (that doesn't help my pain, though!).  She also found endometriosis and removed what she could but also gave me a shot of lupron that will last 3 months during the surgery to clear up any endometriosis that's left (without my consent).  I told her pre-surgery that I wanted to try a low-dose birth control because I've had problems in the past with birth controls and hormones.  She obviously didn't listen.  I will be going to another doctor from now on - but I also don't know if I should be concerned about my current symptoms?

Hi there :)

Firstly, your body is healing from the procedure you've had done. Did you have a D&C and/or a hystereoscopy? These can cause you to pass some chunks at times. Because biopsy's and samples have been taken your uterus is probably discharging some of the  leftovers.
In regards to the gas I suggest getting some "degas" from your local supermarket, it helps you excrete gas.

Secondly..if she did the lupron without your consent I'd be contacting her about that strongly. Lupron is a touchly subject amoung my endo friends - Lurpon works wonders for some and leaves others with devestating side effects. It is the WORST hormone out there for the body in regards to side effects. It puts you into a state of menopause for the time of the shot, so expect hot flushes, bone aches, mood swings, headaches and make sure you up your calcium because it causes significant bone loss. Some women swear by it... which is great, but more often then not women are left with bad side effects (generally when on it for 6+ months). Your doctor has made me SO angry and to top if off it can give women 6 months pain free but then their symptoms come back and alot of the times they can be left with side effects of the lupron. It is really a drug you need concent for and the patient needs to be made aware of the side effects. Did she explain the Lupron to you?
*hugs* I am sorry. Please go to another doctor, one that LISTENS you do NOT need to suffer!

Also I want to add incase anyone wants to jump in and tell me Im not a doctor - I know this, I find we are our biggest advocates and if we didn't do our own research some of us would be left in the hands of doctors who treat us horribly. I again want to state I am NOT a doctor, what I have informed above is based on my research and knowledge based upon the many women I know who have had this drug. All I wish to do is help and offer support. I hope everyone understands :)
