I just started working at a health food store and they have wellness and vitamin counselors there.  One of the women there claims to have been the #2 worst documented case of endo on the books.  She had it so bad that it had migrated to her nose, and when she got her period her nose bleeds!  She just told me yesterday that something she swears by for pain and cramps is Raspberry tea.  She told me to get an organic tea (but apparently said Alvita was NOT a good brand because you have to use 3 times as much to get the same affect).  Traditional Medicinals is one brand, and she also mentioned Yogi Tea, which I have seen available at many grocery stores.  She said to steep THREE teabags in a cup of water for 15-20 minutes.  She said if you could tolerate less water and wanted to do it like a shot, that's fine.  But the important thing is that you cannot add anything to it - no sweeteners or anything.  Somehow that alters the properties of the tea.  Anyway, she said it won't even taste like raspberries but very strong black tea.  She said to repeat in a couple of hours if needed and that she'll sometimes make a big pitcher of it and keep it in her fridge like iced tea.

She's making up a folder for me with other remedies.  Apparently doctors from all over ask her to come and speak about her experience and her remedies.  I'm going to buy the tea today - we'll see how it goes.

If you want I can tell you what else she tells me when I see her again (which probably won't be til Saturday)

Hang in there - I feel your pain (literally!).  Maybe this will help?  Who knows?

There is something on the market called endovan.  It's all herbal and if you google it you can read testimonials.  I have tried it but so far no good but then again I haven't been properly diagnosed.
They claim it's not a drug so it's safe.  It's relatively cheap too.  I saw a special on it onone of the news channels and some women swear by it.
Good luck.

Hi Ladies, Im new to this site, was diagnosed with endo 3 months ago and had the surgery same time. I hadnt heard of this disease prior to that time and am shocked there isnt more said about it. I was misdiagnosed with IBS for years by the docs and even when the pain was unbearable I was still prescribed IBS relief medication!!!!  If there is anybody out there who feels there may be something more going on than just IBS, please please, demand from your GP to be referred to a specialist.

Im only beginning on my endo journey but already want to get off at the next stop, this disease really *****!

I have endo and had a hysterectomy, but left one ovary. Still had severe pain and my ovary was doubled in size only 6 weeks after surgery. I had tried everything and was feeling hopeless. I went to an acupuncturist and he gave me some herbs to take. **** bark plus and channel flow by the company "health concerns" You need to get them through a chinese medicine doctor. I'm not sure if they have them in the UK. It is the only thing that has helped the severe pain. I was taking percocets and 4 advil at the same time with no relief, but the herbs helped so much that I was practically pain free.
