Hi,
Did you have the baby?
From:  WantABaby
I did 2 IVF (1 with meds/2nd natural) with donor egg and sperm with "great embryos" --no babies.
I am moving on from that heartbreak and am now adopting.  I can't afford to keep throwing money without a baby.  With adoption, there is greater hope (for me) of having a child at the end of the process.
Spent all of 2014 trying to have a baby (poked/prodded/medicated/2 transfers,, hysteroscopic myomectomy--fibroid remove in womb, etc.).  The meds caused my weight to go up and down.
I had my last lupron shot in Sept/October.  My hot flashes hit full force in November 2014.  In January, I could not take it any more.  I bought soy milk, flax seed and chia seeds.  I eat the chia and flax seeds with my nuts/oatmeal.  I drink soy milk 2 or 3 days a week. (too much soy is not good for you I'm hearing), no more than a glass or mix with regular milk.  My night sweats (they were getting pretty bad) and hot flashes have greatly diminished.  My sleep has improved.
I did not have hot flashes before the IVF treatments.

I have endo and have had 2 laps in the past year.  I am currently on Lupron 1 injection every 3 months.  I have 3 weeks left of my 2nd injection and about 5 days ago I started bleeding alot with bad cramps.  I have an appt with Shands next week. My OBGYN called me in a hormone pill to stop the bleeding but said he wasnt really concerned.  This all is so frustrating.  Lupron seemed to help alittle until the last 2 months.  Good luck!

For me, Lupron was horrible!  I had a laparoscopy, 6 mos of Lupron and another Lap.  It took almost 2 months for my cycle to return.  After the 1st cycle and the Lupron effects were wearing off, I felt so much better(for a little while)

Hope things go smoothly for you!

Hi there.  Sorry you are going through all that.  But it will get better.  I had a laparotomy, bikini line surgery, to remove an endometrioma and adhesions from endo last December.  At the beginning of January I got a 3-month Lupron shot and I had some side effects from the Lupron like hot flashes, a little headache in the evening, a little insomnia, but nothing severe.  Since then I have had 2 periods.  The first one was heavy and I was bloated and in pain, but the second one lasted only about 4 days and I didn't have much pain neither I was bloated.

And as Princess Jam said, everyone reacts different and for me, it was worth having the surgery and the Lupron.  I have to go in for a check up, but I feel pretty well.

Best wishes,

Neta

Well i found out today the doctor will give me another sample so I will get it on thursday...The pain right now is awful have not stopped crying today. I do have endo and had an open surgery from belly button to down to remove lots of endo and cysts. The lupron does help as long as it does not wear out.

Oh... that's too bad! I hope you do better :) The Lupron is supposed to help, but it is different for EVERYONE!

After I was off the Lupron, I went on Birth Control, and then had a period after that and it was really light.  Like 2 days and not very heavy bleeding. Same with the last period I just had.  I have had some pain here and there, but I'm on Clomid now to try and get things going for me!

Did you take the Lupron for endo. after having a lap?
