Could I possibly have endometriosis?

I am 27 yrs old with 4 children all with my husband of going on 8 yrs. So although we are done with having children I have been experiencing some intense pain for about 1 week now. When I first felt the pain it was about a week after my period. My period was different in that I experience heavy heavy bleeding and bad cramps. It felt like the first day everyday for 7 1/2 days. I usually begin my period light then moderately heavy for days 2-3 and heavy during days 4-5 and tappering off in 6 and almost non exsistant on day 7. So anyway, when I was cramping it was on my left side lower abdomin and it felt like I was dialated to a 4 when I had my children (1 being with no meds) Also my lower back had been hurting but that pain subsided before I went to the ER. I could hardly stand it. I went into the ER about less then 24 hrs later. They did a pelvic exam which was very uncomfortable but tolerant. Then he went on to ofer a ultrasound where they do a internal one with the wand. When the ultrasonographer checked out my left ovary that was a more intense feeling of pain and I did let him know. He only said that my left ovary seemed deeper then my right and he did find it strange but was not going to report it due to it not being of significants. He did state there were no cysts and it did appear to be normal. They sent me home with percoset. I did a follow up with a provider (not mine) and she said that it could be the pains you feel between periods and they should of told me to take midol! I informed her that midol didn't help me and that when I took a percoset that I was still in pain and tossing and turning in bed for hours before I finally fell asleep. Also I have been having temps of 100.7 to 99.0 every now and then. And today I went pee and wiped and there was a small tinged light pink blood and I am exactly in the middle of my cycle so my period should start in about 2 weeks from now. My sister has just been dianosed with endometriosis after 6 yrs of pain. Which I looked up and it says that if your sister or mother has this then your chances are increased by 6x's more likely to develop it. I did get a referral to see a OB/GYN (we are military) and my appt is for next friday. They also called me back the provider did and informed me that when they did the pelvic exam that I had some bacteria vaginosis or something like that. Anyways, its not a STD but rather a change in PH levels which can be caused from so many things such as stress, condoms, spermicides, you name it was her words. She said I have to take antibodics for about 7 days I believe. So my ? is has anyone experienced this and what do you suggest I ask the OB/GYN and how do I bring up my endometriosis suspicions without them thinking that I am over-reacting. I really need the reassurance that I do not have this so that I can rule it out and figure out what is going on with me. I have never experienced this abdominal pain until a week ago. I did have bad periods in the past but I could get rid of the pain with midol and now sometimes even percoset just takes the edge off of the pain. I am scared about the whole thing. The pain comes and goes. Sometimes its constant and feels like its never going to let up and other times its dull or not at all. But everyday I know its there at some point it hits me all of a sudden everyday now and I can not ignore it. I have had HPV pre-cancerous mild cells removed where they took a portion of my cervix and a test biopsy before that. So far no problems about that anymore. So idk I am lost for words. Please help or state your opinion, thanks in advanced!

Also it should not be up to the tech to determine the significance of the findings. That your ovary was deep could in fact be because of adhesions caused by endo.

I am sorry that you have been through so much. Since you are with the military can you see an endo specialist (a gen ob/gyn does not know enough) that is not affiliated with the military. If so and you are near Seattle I recommend:

http://www.seattlefertility.com/

If you are not near Seattle contact the endo association to so they cannot recommend someone. Here is their website:
http://www.endometriosisassn.org/

I hope this helps,
achilles2

Also check out the endo association for info about endo and some good resources.
