Just about the same here - It does sound like endo:
I've had 4 laps done for endo now - It took me almost 8 years to get diagnosed with it :( The first lap I had severe endo with a cyst, and adhesions. Second about 7 months later - had more endo and a large endometrioma on my right ovary, they had to remove 1/2 of that ovary although it is still mostly functional. Third lap was Feb 2006 - more endo another cyst, and finally the 4th lap was this past January - more endo a small cyst and there was an adhesion that had glued my right ovary to my right tube... So they cut the adhesion.
Endo is a horrible disease - especially for someone who is young. The only "cure" is a complete hysterectomy :( I had major symptoms - HEAVY periods, large blood clots, very painful intercourse, nauseated during intercourse, bowel pain especially during periods.... We have one child and still trying for our second (1 yr now :( ) Get treatment ASAP and if your doc doesnt want to do anything - go see another. This stuff can really screw with your fertility....
Oh yeah - my mom didn't believe me either. She thought I was faking it to get attention because she was going through the same thing... she felt aweful when I finally got diagnosed with endo. I also have PCOS which doesn't help matters of TTC...
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message...
Good luck and keep us posted!!!
Hugs :)
Anytime well i have had it since i was about 16/17 used to get pains during my periods and in between and i just used to think i suffered from period pain until i found a doctor that took me seriously she did an internal which was painful and then they refered me to a gyno straight away and they did a scan on my tummy to see if they could spot anything which they did, cysts i then had a internal again where they took swabs to test they said it looked like i had endo but they couldnt be sure until they did keyhole surgery and when they did they found the endo and a cyst on my right ovary endo are lumps/adhesions that grow full of blood and because they grow outside the lining of your womb these blood adhesions can't release the blood cause it has no where to go that is what causes all the the pain they do laser the endo off but it will grow back within 6 +months as its not curable. i still get my symptoms they dont go away completely but they have improved i get throbbing pain on my my left&right ovarys and i get severe period pain which are heavy, fever, sickness, lower back pain, leg pain, fatigue, bowel pain, painful sex the list goes on but i dont get them all at once normally a few at a time or one even depends so make sure when you see your doctor they refer you to a gyno i suffered far to long and it got worse i mean it effects your fertilty as well so i might have no problem getting pregnant or it might take me some time depending on how severe the endo is and where it is my case was moderate but it may get worse they can't give you straight answers as its such a unpredictable chronic disease when went i into hospital i was talking to a lady there which was having her 7th laser surgery!. so its best to be safe than sorry and ignore it as it wont go away i hope you feel better soon and get this sorted to be on the safe side and dont worry about your mum's opinion only you can be the judge of this know one else has a clue unless they have endo as to how much pain this causes physically, mentally & emotionally do whats best keep me posted take care bex :-) x
Thanks for replying :)
Yeah people keep saying to me it sounds like Endo, i'm going to the doctors this friday finally.
At the moment i've got lower back pain/top leg pain and ovulation pain every now again.
Do you have Endo then? Where was yours? Did they find any on your Bowels?
I don't know what else it could be really, i haven't got servere pain or constant pain in one area it changes all the time.
My mum won't take me seriously though :/
Could i have Cysts on my Ovary? I get sharp kinda pressure pain on my left one, it's a strange pain so i don't know if i could get them.
So basically my Pill is not working properly :|
