Curious

Hello, my name is Jessica, i'm 21 years old and i was diagnosed with endometriosis in November of 2008 after a laparoscopy. Since the surgey i have yet to find a decent, or even somewhat sympothetic doctor. I have been to at least 5 and i get the same answers from them all. It's take tylenol, use birth control, and try Lupron, the pain can't be that bad. Let's see I have been on Several different birth controls and none have helped. Tylenol doesn't even begin to touch the pain ,where, during my period i'm basically crippled for 4 days. Also with all the side affects of Lupron, i really do't want to be on it. I just want to know if anyone knows of any decent gynecologists, prefferably in Maryland, but honestly at this point they could be in another state as well. I just am seriously running out of hope and patience.

I know how frustrated you must feel!  I knew I found the right Dr when he described my pain as a long painful labor without having a prize at the end............

I think a lot of people with endo know the frustration of finding the right doc. I have done so many things and am still not aleviated completely but ib profen is my best friend and sometimes laying upsidedown on the stairs helps I know its weird but true. Good luck!
