Does it seem to be endometriosis

I had a laparoscopy to get my tubes removed last Monday and they found a lesion behind my cervix sent it out for biopsies and came back as suspiciously endometriosis! My dr doesn't think it's endometriosis I'm very fertile i have four kids ages 9, 6, 4 and 2. I've been having a lot of pain especially during sex but I still have the same pain maybe a little worse so I don't understand. I'm thinking about asking for a hystorectomy maybe that will cure the problem

Thanks for posting.

Let me give you some input into what you have wrote.

1) A hysterectomy is not a cure for endo
2) Just because you are highly "fertile" does not mean you can't have it.
3) The biopsy was either positive for endo or it wasn't so I would get the paperwork back from that surgery to see what the wording actually says. This is very important.

4) Because you are having pain during sex and the suspicious lesion was found behind the cervix it could be possible that the endo was missed if no one looked around and some of the places that can be missed is the cul de sac, rectovaginal area etc.
5) There is no cure for endo at the moment. The only way for this to be treated if it is endo is with an Endo specialist who specializes in excision (cut out) not just ablation (laser)

I hope that helps some.
