Endemetriosis on ovary

Following a laparoscopy my doctor discovered endometriosis on my ovary-I have been having a lot of pain on my right hand side for a long time.  Could slight endemetriosis cause a lot of pain?

Thanks for reply-Yes he said he removed it with diathermy and he said it was around it also but he didnt elaborate.  It's just been causing problems for ages-at first they didnt know what was causing the pain. My periods have been awful, bloating has been worse on right hand side and it hurts to go to the loo around period time.  Its starting to affect everyday life and so it's frustrating when they dont really talk to you about it

Yes it can.  You have stage 1 and have more pain than someone with stage 4.  Did he say anything more about the surgery? was it anywhere else?  did he remove it off the ovary? did he remove the ovary?
