Hi ! I just wanted you to know that I did have several years without pain and I just love not having the monthly visitor with all it's fun, lol.
Seriously I am in pain now and going through some b/s but I didn't want you to think that it was bad from the beginning. I had about 7 years endo free and no mother nature.
Congrats on the baby & good luck
Hugs,
Erin :)
Hi there,
Interestingly I was about to create a post with the exact same title! My situation is a little different. I have had severe endo for years and am currently pregnant (20 weeks) with my first child. 2nd pregnancy though...
My long term game plan is to get a complete hysterectomy after giving birth because I simply cannot function with this chronic pain any more and its going to be REALLY difficult with a small child to care for too. However, getting that hysterectomy is so final, I want to gather as much info about it beforehand as possible.
Has anyone else had a successful hysterectomy in that the pain has NOT come back afterwards? I'm guessing if so, however, those folks wouldn't be hanging out on an endometriosis forum...hmm...what a conundrum!
Anyway, if anyone can help, I do appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks!!
Hi! Thanks for responding!
I was at the gyn today to discuss an exploratory laperoscopy and he told me there was no way he was doing it. Said I have pelivc adhesive disease and I need a specialist in that area and a general surgeon.
I am going to do some research on who is best in that field - after I get a few days of rest to absorb this new dx and refusal to operate!
Good luck with your surgery on th 11th. I hope they get every last bit of it and you never have to suffer this again!
Hugs,
Erin :)
