Endrometriosis

Please help. I have a 7 cm. cyst on my ovary & endometriosis on the outside of my uterus. My Doctor says we might be able do a laproascapy but thinks It might be better to have surgery since it's all stuck together.  Would I just be taking another risk by being put under to have a camera look to see if it can be done by a laporoscapy?  Or should I just have the surgery.  I'm scared to be knocked out and if it more then likely would require surgery I'd rather just be put out one time.....?  7cm is kind of large from what I'm hearing.   Is that true also?

I had a 6 cm endometrioma on my left ovary and the doctor did surgery because according to the US and the CA - 125, it could be cancer.  But at the end, it turned out to be an endometrioma and he made a bikini line surgery, a little bit big, but after a month of the surgery I am feeling quite fine and are up and around doing things.

Best wishes,

Neta

7cm is large... I would opt for the surgery. I would rather have them make one incision and have enough room to work than to have to make more cause the lap wouldn't work.
So, my advice, go for the surgery.
I hope all works out well for you!!

Good Luck and let me know how everything goes :)
Hugs :)
