HCG Levels

On 07/04/11i was injected with 4embroys @5pm thru IVF, on 21/04 i went for Blood test to check HCG level, it was  37, again on 25/04 i done HCG test it turned out to be 16.35, what does it indicate, can my HCG level increase as I am due for blood test today. VERY WORRIED

From what you say, this is the numbers, am I correct?

April 7      embryos transferred

April 21    beta hCG 37

April 25    beta hCG 16.35

If this is right (in other words, if it is not 163.5), what it indicates does not sound too good.  A dropping hCG is rarely good news.  The only time it is not indicative of bad news is if more than one embryo 'took' and then one faded, but the other(s) are still going.  When one fades, the overall number might drop, but the rest would then continue and the hCG would start to rise again.  I hope this is happening for you.  In your shoes, I would pray for the best but prepare for the worst.  Good luck.
