Has anyone diagnosed with endo experienced similar symptoms?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could offer me any advice. For about a year I have been having pains when going to the bathroom (for a poop! Sorry!) but only whilst im on my period, and they are generally worse in the first few days. As the months have continued this pain has also occurred whilst passing wind or even for no reason, but again its only the first few days of my period. The pain is almost like a knife going up inside my bum, and it makes it really hard to go to the toilet because of the pain. Sometimes I'm even crying out it hurts that much. I'm 19 years old, I have been to the doctors, but so far all they've offered me is blood tests which have shown I'm anaemic, and they sent me for an abdominal ultrasound but on the result it said for my uterus "shows no sign of endometrial thickening". The doctors at my GP seem to not want to refer me to a gyno but that's what I feel i really need, but I worry because there's nothing seemingly wrong with me that no one is listening. Makes me feel like I'm going a bit crazy! Obviously I'm not a doctor but I have looked into endometriosis a lot as it's the only answer for my pain I keep coming back to and I worry that the endo is on my bowel. If anyone with similar symptoms who has been diagnosed or is going through similar symptoms has any advise etc I would really appreciate it, many thanks.

I've had the same symptoms as you as well. After several years of pain my doctor finally did a Laproscopic surgery and cauterized the adhesions and endometriosis. My only advice to you is to take charge of your own health care and not to take no for an answer. For years the doctors I went to told me not to "worry about" Endometriosis, that I don't have it. But in reality, the only way to diagnose it is during surgery. So how did they know? It's very frustrating but if you don't get an acceptable answer, see a new doctor. You don't need to live in pain because they don't want to take the time to figure it out.

Yes!

Your symptoms sound like Rectal Vaginal Endometriosis. If you look at my journals here in my profile you can see the symptoms I had. In order for this to be properly removed it needs to be done by an endo specialist. It is not something that a regular gyno can do at all.
