How long does Lupron stay in your system?

Hi I got my last shot of Lupron a little over 2 months ago. Does anyone know how long Lupron stays in your system? Could getting pregnant now be a danger to the fetus? Thank you.

well here is my story,
i had been trying to concieve for the last 10 yrs or so, i am now approaching 40 years of age and i just recently found out(2008) that i had endemetriosis and had the lap surgery t oget it out.. the dr. got most of it, and i had a lot of it, but my main problem was on my left side where i had been having pain. my left ovary was bound to my intestinal wall and he tried to get it while in surgery but he couldnt successfully do it  due to bleeding ,and he did nt want to damage my ovary at that time. i just got off lupron shots on may 1st(last treatment) and on june 1st, i started clomid 50mg for 5 days and now i am waiting.. i would like to know how long i need to wait till i try to cinciever again.. my time is running out!

Hi there.  In January I had 3-month Lupron shot and 5 months after, I still have some hot flashes, a little headache and some tiredness, but they have diminished considerably.  The doctor told me last month that probably I would still have some side effects for one more month.  As far as I know, now your body has to start ovulating and your periods will start again, and you could get pregnant.  He  told me that I could start trying to have kids as soon as I could due to my age and that I have never had kids.

Best wishes,

Neta
