How long does it take for endometriosis to grow back?

I was diagnosed back in Feb. of this year with severe endometriosis. I has a laparoscopy and my obgyn lasered out all the endometriosis. After that, I started taking the Lupron injections for 6 months. Everything went good, didnt have any pain, just some mild side effects from the shot.  I am off the shots now, I have been off of them since August. I have had 2 periods and the I am hurting the same way I was before my surgery. My periods are painful and irregular. Im just worried that it has already began to grow back. Can someone give me some info on this and how fast it can grow back. Thanks

Yes endo can grow back really fast. Usually if after the treatment you are trying to conceive, the doc will put you on Birth Control Pills to help stop a little the re-growth of the endo.

Not sure on the endo; I had been told with the adhesions though, it could be as quick as three days later.  Endo I think is within months too though.  I would thing medscape can tell you that though if you can't reach your dr.. hmm.. it is scary and aweful how fast. my dr said putting the mirena iud in me would help slow down regrowth.  we'll see.. i just had a lap before thanksgiving..
