Is Endometriosis causing my Digestive Difficulties?

35 year old Female 5'5
approximately last known 125lbs
Busprione 10mg - 1.5 pills per night
Windmill vitamins: probiotic, c-1000, cranberry

On 4/25/2017 I had an appendectomy.
Acute appendicitis, endometriosis found including in appendix, along with a cyst on my left ovary.

After released from the hospital (overnight stay) I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg, Metronidazole 500mg and Tapentadol 50mg for pain.  I completed both antibiotics on schedule and only took the Tapentadol for 3 or 4 days (pain was subsiding).

On May 4 or 5 I called my surgeon about pain increasing, abdominal discomfort, bloated, not feeling well, no appetite.  I was told this is normal.

May 9 - Appointment with surgeon explained to nurse practitioner that I was still having pain, abdominal discomfort, bloated, not feeling well, no appetite
130lbs
Blood work- normal
Sgot 11

May 12 - went to a medical clinic - not feeling good, no appetite, feel full, back pain, positive for yeast infection although no discharge present
Bowels sound intact and functional
Urine test showed good results
Prescription Fluconazole 150 MG
1st pill taken this day
126 lbs

May 16 - 1251am - called ER -
(Surgeon that preformed appendectomy)
Very painful lower abdomen pain/ traveled to rectum
Subsided after about 30 minutes and hot bath

May 16 am
Yeast infection symptoms no discharge present
2nd does of Fluconazole 150 MG

May 17 - appointment with surgeon
Urine test 4-10 red blood cells per field
Same symptoms as stated above
125 lbs
Period 12 days late

May 22 - CT scan performed
Started period

May 22 - appointment with gynecologist
Endometriosis found present on right ovary - cyst still present on left ovary
125 or 126 lbs

May 24 Depo Provera administered
(No prescription of birth control since December 2010, using over the counter spermicide)

May 24 - Surgeon telephone call
Ct scan show no infections/

I have eaten even when no appetite, small meals throughout the day.
As this process has gone along I started noticing increased sickness as I consumed dairy.  I cut down on dairy and bread.

May 29 - ate though out the day hamburger with no bread
hot dog with no bread
Barbecue chicken
scalloped potatoes
No dairy since

May 30 - woke up very sick feeling

May 31 - am full mucus stool - then regular bowel

June 1-  increasing mucus only stool
Both morning and evening
Along with several bowel movements in am

June 2 - called surgeon office just to let know of bowel movement changes -
Feelings of yeast infection coming back

April 17 - Dr appointment not concerning above: 133 lbs

I have discontinued dairy from my diet
Along with slowly eliminating gluten and wheat.  As I feel this is triggering my body to feel worse.
I am eating salads, fruits, veggies and meat.
I have no prior digestive difficulties prior to appendectomy, nor any previous concerns with dairy or wheat.  I have no alcohol or substance abuse history.  Only surgeries prior to 4/25/2017 have been due to injuries.

I am asking if all the difficulties I am experiencing could be from the endometriosis?
Or is this normal after an appendectomy?

Hi. I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from all of this! I am new to this forum and just had a laparoscopy on Friday that confirmed I have endo. I have also had my appendix removed and I will tell you that afterwards I felt extremely sick. I still had pain for a week after and it was weeks before my stomach felt somewhat normal again. I also have nausea just from endo alone. There are very few days that I actually feel ok. It has affected my entire digestive system. I know that endo affects everyone differently but in my case, yes...it did cause digestive issues. I hope this helps you a little and I am still trying to educate myself on this terrible disease I have been suffering with for half my life it seems. Take Care and keep me posted on how you are feeling!
