Is this symptomatic of endomitriosis?

A few months ago I started noticing that every time my husband and I had intercourse I would bleed for a day or two. Then, a few weeks ago I had my period and it was the worst period I've ever had. I had such bad cramps, that I was not only cramping up and in pain in my uterus, I also had radiating pain in my vagina and rectal. This morning, now, I was working then started having excruciating cramps that radiated anal and vaginal and I could hardly walk. I made it to the bathroom, and realized I had to have a bowel movement, but the pain was so excruciating that it took me a half-hour and I was gritting my teeth the whole time. It was very very painful...almost as painful as childbirth.

I've also noticed a clear mucous-like discharge for the past few weeks.

It goes without saying that I have no desire to have sex for the past couple of months. My husband is wondering why...but I'm kind of embarrassed to give him the full details of the reason.

Anyone else have these symptoms, or know if it could be endometriosis? I'm praying it isn't cancer. I am trying to get a doctor appointment but haven't heard back from the doctor's office yet.

Well this disease is about bodily function so he will have to learn more about it :) poochats are normal when you have Endo

I assume you have Endo as you are posting here and yes what you have described can be from Endo. I had stage IV and I had it all over my bowels including the rectovaginal area.

You can read my journals if you'd like to see if some of the issues you are having are like that.

Adhesions caused a partial bowel blockage for me and I ended up using an enema 3 times a week for 3 yrs because doctors weren't listening to me.

If you are bleeding one thing I would do is have a pap done to check to see if your cervix is okay and that you don't have abnormal cells as I had that also

Second I would book an ultrasound to see if they can see anything abnormal

I would then see the specialist that did your surgery and tell him what is going on.

If you have never been diagnosed with endometriosis before through lap the best thing to do is find an Endo specialist however the first thing any doctor is going I want to do is rule out any bowel disease so you might have to see a gastro to get a colonoscopy done.

Oh, I did tell him I was having a problem, and that it wasn't due to us. But since I posted this here, I also let him read it. It's just that...he never has been comfortable discussing things like bodily functions.

There is really no reason to hold back information from your husband, even though you don't quite know what's going on yet.  You should assure him you still love him and find him attractive, but something is going on with you that you need to see the doctor for, causing pain and discomfort.  Assure him you hope it can be corrected so your interest in sex will come back.  Otherwise he will be confused and think you have lost interest in him.  A mystery can be very destructive to a relationship.
