Laparoscopy- pain physically and mentally

Hi everyone-   I had a laparoscopy a week ago.  The right fallopian tube was removed as I had an entopic pregnancy. I have a severe burning pain below my bellybutton and a lot of bleeding.  Is this normal?

After six miscarriage and no children this is devastating.  I have a lot of pain below my belly button.  It is like a ferocious burning and the skin looks like it has been gathered.  Also, I started bleeding today.  My hormones are all over the place.  Have not been given any information.  They operated because the site of the pregnancy was 'unknown.' afterwards the doctor did not see me to let me know the outcome.  Everything in gynae medicine seems a bit vague.  There is very little support emotionally and physically.  I don't know about others, but it seems that you have to constantly push forward, diagnose yourself and push to get answers.  I had to make the choice to have surgery.  They gave me the option of waiting to see what the hormone levels would be.
my specialist wants me to pay to go to a specialist to get answers before he will put me on the IVF waiting list,  Just really fed up and don't know where to turn next.  Really scared to get pregnant again.  Really don't know how much more that I can take.   Does anyone else feel this alone and unsupported?

Thanks for that.  Women are just generally so unsupported when it comes to gynae medecine.  I think that some issues are just still so taboo.  They don't think I have endo by the way.  Brand new to this whole concept of posting a comment. so sorry if i got it wrong- just needed someone to chat to.

Oh gotta love the after care of the surgery eh?? Good Lord I was in his office and he was telling me what he told me after surgery, I was like "what"?? I never saw him, so he must speak to his patients when they are still under LOL.. He has no bed side manner whatsover!!

It takes a while after surgery (at least 3 weeks) to start feeling normal again. The first week is the pain in the shoulder and body from the gas they put in you, the next week is the dull sharp pains that continue and yes during all of that I bled like crazy, I had blood clots so big I thought that I was dying!!  If the wounds start to seep or become really red I would go back to the doctor.

So now that you are on a waiting list wouldnt he put you on some sort of HRT to stop the growth of endo or do you not have endo?

I havent had IVF  or had to wait so I cant help you on that.

I am here however if you ever need to talk.
