Loestrin 24Fe

Hello I started Loestrin 24Fe on March 9, 2008 the Sunday after my period started, but since I have not had a menstrual cycle and I am freaking out! I hear all of this stories regarding blood clogs in your brain because of no menstrual cycles with the pills, is this true?? I've also noticed that my sexual drive has decreased a bit and I've been a bit moody but not as bad as other's I guess!! I am also getting a lot of headaches.... please let me know if any of you suffer from any of this symptoms and if they are constant. Thanks.

I was on Loestrin 24 for two months and hated it.  I had bad headaches and it really affected me sexually.  I stopped taking it last week and am a week late for my period.  I took a test and it says i'm not pregnant, but i don't know why i haven't gotten my period.  I didn't restart a new pack this past week since we are trying to get pregnant, but just being off the pills for one week, i feel so much better.  And the sex drive is back=)  So, i would say if you need to be on BC, try to switch to a different one.  Ortho Tri Cyclen was great for me.  Hope this helps.

I am just starting the pill (Yaz, though) as well, so I have been a bit freaked out about what it could do to me as well. But I did a search on this and here is an article I found for you. Hope it calms your fears about a brain clot.
