PFD keeps coming back

I have pelvic floor dysfunction, and I was told that I got it because of having endo.  Almost a year after having a laparoscopy to remove endo, I started recieving treatment for PFD (10 mg valium daily, monthly visits with a pelvic/sexual health specialist, and weekly physical therapy) and things started improving drastically, but it never gets better!  It is SO frustrating, all the time it gets really close to being better but then it flares up again, and again, and again.  I'm worried that this could be from endo coming back.  I have been dating my boyfriend for almost a year now, and I still have never been able to have "real" sex with him, because its so painful for me.  I am just so beyond frustrated and ready to be done with all of this. Anyone else have this problem?  Why would pelvic foor dysfunction just continue to come back?

I didnt know that PFD went away. I thought that once you had it you had it and you could try to strengthen the inner muscles but it doesnt go away. That was my impression of it.

When was your last surgery?  You might have Adhesions not Endo coming back.
