Possible Endometriosis? Steps to getting diagnosed

For the past 2 yrs. I have been struggling with many symptoms and have seen a number of doctors. At first they though i was having kidney issues due to constant back pain (while i have passed a kidney stone in the last year) all my kidney fuction test are normal and every scan and test is negative. I then was being seen by a urologist since i have pelvic pain and have multiple bladder infections, and still no answers. Then i started to track my pain and periods and noticed a correlation. My periods are very heavy often have clots and are extremely painful. I spot every time between periods and sometimes randomly after sex as well. I have pelvic pain, lower abdominal pain, pain during intercoarse, often painful bowel movements, and constant lower back pain. When the pain is at its worst it tends to receed down my thighs. Last month the pain was so bad i went to the E.R and after multiple tests, finally a C.T scan showed fluid in my pelvic region and they diagnosed me with a ruptured ovarian cyst. I have constant bouts of nausea and feel tired quite often. Im really getting frustrated and feel as though most doctors shrug me off and just offer pain medication. i have a 1 and 3 yr. old and this is affecting most aspects of my life. Please any advice or if this could be endometriosis? If so how do you go about getting diagnosed? Thanks for your time and any advice.

This does sound like endometriosis. Having painful bowel movements could mean you have intestinal endo which as I a know personally can be extremely painful.

I also have issues with my bladder but no infections. If you have endo you could possibly have interstitial cystitis which often go hand in hand with each other.

Free fluid in the abdomen is never a good sign if its endo because that means its spread even more.

I too had severe nausea from all of this and I suffered for way to long. You seem to be where I was at before I had enough of that crap

Where do you live?

You need to find a doctor that deals with this disease as most gyno's are uneducated and have no idea what to do.

I was not diagnosed until I was 29yrs old and I started having the pain at 14.  Dont stop until you get answers.

If you need to talk or have anymore questions I will be more then happy to help out. Message me :)
