Top surgeons are worth the wait and they are long waits but that is because they are good surgeons everyone is referred to him. Negative or not my surgeon has **** bedside manner long wait times but he is the best and I wouldn't want a surgeon that didn't know how to treat Endo because you will just keep having to have surgery after surgery because the skill is just not there.
Hi Ticked- I am familiar with Dr Hibner and I have heard alot of negative things about him so that is why I didnt go to him. Reviews are very mixed and he is very busy, which takes time away from the patient and he schedules 5-6 months out so thats why I didnt see him. Thanks for the recommendation though.
You should see if dr sinervo can help he is one of the best worldwide and it's rare to have that opportunity to have a surgery done right with such skill and compassion for his patients. Just throwing it out there
No I see Dr Greco in Covington. I really like him. He's not a Endo specialist but he has been in practice over 30 years. My insurance company is picky
Do you see dr sinervo at the CEC? If not you need to he is the absolute best.

Most endo is treated by an OBGYN, like mine. I don't know of any 'specialists" unless an OBGYN takes an interest in endo specifically and some are simply better than others. There's a clinic here in Phx that call themselves Pelvic Pain Specialists, and theyre a couple gyns who take an interest in endo and other issues but the reviews were not very good and a lot of patients felt rushed, etc. I found a gyn that was recommended by other women who had endo treated by him and he did my last Lap. Your FSH is follicle stimulating hormone-basically determines how well your ovaries make eggs and the lower the number, the better. If you're 29 and still getting regular periods your FSh is likely ok but you can get a blood test done day 3 of your period and get an idea of where you're at. Your gyn can order the test and you should get ur thyroid, prolactin and other hormones tested just to be safe. Since you have not had a BFP in a white, I would see a fertility doc. IVF, though expensive and stressful, can help get you pregnant if you have endo. The fertility doc will also order labs and test your hormone levels. Good luck.
My surgery was done by my gyn not a specialist. Honestly I'm not exactly sure what all was done. I can't remember, that's horrible. I believe he lasered everything and cleaned it up? He believes I have adenomyosis and will have to have a hysterectomy one day. Yeah he said to give it another 3 months since the HSG can increase infertility. I've never had my FSH levels tested. I still get pelvic pains and tired easily. Sometimes I think I'm just crazy. Thanks it nice to hear that people have been able to conceive.
I conceived twice after my first LAP! Unfortunately miscarried both times. I just had my second lap in Dec and hoping for a BFP since I am older than you and my time is running out. At 29, I wouldnt stress too much, especially if your FSH is normal and so on.
Was your surgery done by an endo specialist? Did they excise the endo or laser it all?
I did have stage IV and conceived and many women have but your best bet is seeing an Endo specialists that also specialises in fertility. 4 Months is not long I would give it a chance still. They say after trying for a year then you should see one. That is just what I have heard. It took 1.5 yrs to conceive for me.
I have had 3 babies since my first lap!
