I have been suffering with endometriosis for almost 12 years now having had various laps and been on various drugs and injections. I had one ovary removed 12 years ago but yet again the pain is back tenfold and I am wondering whether to just demand a hysterectomy and get my life back to some normality. I know they are reluctant because I have no kids but I'd rather be pain free. I am just a bit concerned about regrowth after such major surgery.
One of the RE's in our town is also a specialist on laparascopic removal of endometriosis. See if you can find someone like that, his comment to me was that a lot of doctors can't even see it when they are looking right at it. I'd try that surgery before the removal of your last ovary and uterus.
