I have been TTC for 2 years, had explorative lap in june found stage IV endo, cleaned a bit out but extensive. Referred to monash IVF and enso specialist there, he advised IVF the only way to go and natural conception was not possible, also advised would need bowel resection in next 2-3 years after had children to circumvent a bowel rupture due to endo. I a nurse work in High dependency so that scared me to death. I see all the horror stories. Anyways were due to go last monday for first round counselling and ultrasound pre IVF but thought what the hell im late again(so many false lates since lap), so used a preg test and husband surprised me ten mins later when he noticed it had two lines i wasnt even gonna bother looking. Now im 6 weeks preg, have cramps a lot but told thats normal for endo sufferers. Hoping all is well at U/S friday. Dont know if it was relaxation knowing it wasnt possible this month or being on Vitex1000 chaste berry extract this month that did it i dont care, so yes its always possible. Dont ever believe its not. Cant wait til May...
Hi, I have also had stage for endo and had 4 laps done in 2 1/2years, they found it in my bowel aswell, been trying for children for almost 5 years and had hectic pain. I live in South Africa and my doctor referred me to a doctor in Cape Town (two hour flight from where i live). They are on the cutting edge of endo and use the latest technology and at the top in the country. Apparently after cutting out / lazering the endo they then spray inside with a substance that endo can not grow on. I had the op done in March this year and am feeling a millions times better. I have since gotten ovarin cysts and decided to do a major diet change as one of the main causes is too much sugar and refined carbs- it was that or the pill and after two weeks i decided the natural approach would be better.
I got pregnant w/twins are carried them 37 weeks. After that, I was not able to get pregnant again. I was on the verge of infertility help but was Blessed with the pregnancy. Hope all goes well for you.
