Here is my concern- I have had a dull and CONSTANT pain in the exact spotBirthmarks - pigmented Liver spots Measles, koplik spots - close-up Mongolian blue spots where I have had sharp pains in the past-3 inches to the left of my belly button. I feel it in my back too. I have had this now over a week, constant. I am sometimes constipated but would think if it were IBS I would not have this dull pain constant for a week? I had this come up about .1.5 yrs ago as well for about a week. When I have this pain I have no appetite, but that can maybe be stress. I am scared it is cancer but I cannot self diagnos myself!
Hi there, I had my endo lap done 2 mnths ago, they found level 2 endo. If your pain is just left of belly button I am not so sure if its endo. I used to have pain in the lower abdomen; just above the navel area. And yes I used to have pains during bowel movement. A vaginal u/s wont help identifying endo but its good that they didn't find any cysts. I would suggest you talk with a good OB/GYN about all the things you are undergoing. Unfortunately, with endo, surgery is the only way to find out whether you have it or not.
BC pills will really help you as they help in not getting endo, thats what my doctor said.
IEndo is sometimes very hard to finger when it comes to just the physical symptoms. Sometimes people do not experience any pain and others pain is debiliating. Nani is right in saying the only way to know for sure is to have a laperoscopy performed.
The pain on your left side sounds like it is in the area of your left ovary. It could be from ovulation. With endo you can have pain in any part of the abdomen because endo can form anywhere within that area and even out of the abdomen area in some cases.(although not as common)
Pain during a BM could be a symptom of endo but also of IBS. IBS symoptoms can feel very similiar to having gyno problems.
Your best bet would be to talk to your gyno about endo and to also rule out IBS.
I know for me they wanted to rule out everything before they had to actually perform a surgical prosedure and although they do sedate you for the gastro IBS test, it doesnt involve cutting into you so is more simple to get done.
There is no way to cure endo but BC can keep it from growing. After you stop the pill it will come back until your body goes into meapause:(
I hope you get the answeres you need to stop the pain
