TO PROTEA

I was just wondering how your feeling, you said the last time you posted on my question, which by the way I was very appreciative of from all your ladies help, but you were going to have a phone consult with a endo specialist I was wondering how that went..... Any leads on how to deal with this crippling endo.

And yes as all who have knows its crippling, I hurt everyday. I can't have any CT scans anymore becaues they fear I could get stomach cancer but x rays don't show anything like endo, but I do know that my guts are in a ball form the adhessions so that helps to enhance the pain from endo and I only have one ovary left so.........Just hoping you had a little info from the specialist thanks

Hi there you are so sweet for asking.I have been really busy with my kids. One has a heart defect and the other possible Hirshsprungs so sorry I have not been on here lately to see your post.Yes the consul went very well.He was really wonderful to speak to and said that he can help me.My surgery is scheduled for June 9 thank goodness my mom will be here to watch the little ones.He said that he would look all over for it.He thinks my pain under my ribs could be the cause of it too as well as the bowel problems. He said that he would have me to a prep in case he would have to do the bowel resection. He would have a specialist standing by for that.I was also told that I could need a possible repair to front and back.I would have wanted to wait longer but my husband said that if anyone could do it he would have this dr do it.He is very difficult to see as he is all over the world helping people from south africa to singapore. He really was so comforting and understanding.he also said that men could get endo which I never knew and also said that some poeple are born with endo cell and that no amount of hormones will take care of it. I am really happy that i never took live with it for an answer and did my own research. There is a wonderful website that you can get info from.Just let me know if you would like it.He also said that no amount of scans or x-rays can see endo only the eyes.so he is really not sure what he is dealing with he will only know when he opens me up which will be a lap.I will have an app with him the day before so he can examine me.I really hope this helps you and you are able to find someone to help you like I did.I will keep you posted.
