Yeah, unfortunately endo most often grows back. It's easy to sit down and let yourself panic about it, but that's not the way to go. You can either go get another surgery or find ways to cope. I use a heating pad every day, take some pain meds and focus my attention on other things in my life. If I'm having bathroom problems I'll take a women's laxative or eat something with milk (I'm lactose intolerant.) It is possible to get used to the pain and find a way to function.

Many people need more than one surgery. I am sorry if you thought the surgery would make it go away. Some people, like me, have it so bad, they have to find a way to just cope with it.
Due to having a lot of allergies I take fish oil every day, and that is how I control it. I wish you luck in dealing with it.

If the doctor was a endo specialist and he knew what he was doing and he removed all the endo during your lap then the endo should be manageable.

the problem is the lack of knowledge and skill of some OBGYN's.

Where you put on anything after your surgery? The pill continuously or Lupron?

I have endometriosis as well and my doctor made it seem as though it will never go away, but it is manageable.

I am sorry you are in so much pain. I take it from your post that you are in England. I recommend that you go see Dian Shepperson Mills. My sister has one of her books that she has written about endo and it is very good.

I hope this helps,
