Thats crazy that you have to wait that long. Is there any way you can ask for the copy of your surgery and pick it up? I will tell you what it says lol

Thanks for your reply, my concern is that I had a late afternoon surgery so my consultant had gone by the time I came round and the nurse couldn't read his notes so all they could tell me was my ovaries are large and I have cysts,i don't know if any were removed during surgery and I can't speak to my consultant because he's now on leave for two weeks, I find it very frustrating because I can't get a follow up appointment for 4 months as they are busyall I can do is make an appointment for a telephone conversation for about 3 weeks time, I find it quite upsetting because I just want to know what happened and what they found, and if they didn't remove the cysts is it likely I will have to have the procedure done again as its causing pain x

It takes a good 2 weeks to recouporate from a lap surgery.  After 2 days you should be in pain.  As long as the incision isnt leaking or is not pussing then you should be fine.

If there was something more they would have said something.

My doctor did the same thing. I think he had a conversation with me while I was still under lol..

His nurse told me everything but I also asked questions as well.

When you go for your follow up they should give you a copy of the surgical report.
