endometerosis

I am 29 years of age, and have been dealing with low pack pain, severe pain before during and after my cycle, but at times during the month I get these sharp pains that feel like someone is piching and twisting my insides on the right side of my vagina...Is this Endometerosis? What should I do, I do not want to have surgery...but I don't see my GYN till June/

Thanks for the support. I am glad that I am not the only dealing with this.  Did you have any surgery yet.  I did call my dr and they said they would call if there was a cancellation before my june visit.. so far nothing....hope you are doing well too.

go to your doctor to get checked out. the only way to diagnose endo is with a laproscopic surgery. if your doctor recommends a lap surgery, do your research and find a good endometriosis doctor - excision doctor in your area. you do not want to get the surgery done by a doctor that is not well known for treating endo because it wont all be taken out and it will grow back quickly- your pain will come back. you have a greater chance of the endo not coming back if the surgery is done by an endo specialist- someone known for doing good jobs with lap surgery,

I have dealt w/severe Endo.  It can cause pains everywhere and anywhere.  Please try to see you Dr sooner to make sure what you are dealing with is Endo and not something else.  FYI there is an Endo forum as well.

Good luck!
