endometriosis, cysts pain in lower left side

Im 23 years old, had surgery for endometriosis a year ago, exactly a year later (about 5 months ago) for cysts on my left ovary. Now its been about 3 months since the pain started again could i have endometriosis again. It usually worsens with my period but it comes and goes I havent seen my doctor again after the last surgery, I dont have any kids and my doctor recommended getting pregnant soon so endometriosis didnt come back. could i have more cysts?

Yes endo can grow back. I've had endo for 12+ yrs. I've had 6 surgeries to remove the adhesions. Sometimes I can't even go a year without it coming back. I have a severe case of endo and adhesions have been found outside of my pelvic area.

Okay here are some facts about endometriosis that you need to know.

There is no cure for Endo. The closest to being pain free is to have the surgery done by an Endo specialist that excises (cuts out) Endo not laser. Those are hard to come by.

Having a baby will not stop Endo from growing that is lack of education by your doctor and makes me angry that doctors are still telling patients this.

Yes cysts can come back.

Usually they will put you on something to suppress your periods like the bcp, mirena , Lupron etc. this will help with the pain although I don't recommend Lupron whatsoever .
