Thanks for the good wishes.  Good luck to you too.  They did an hysterosalpinogram to check the permeability in the tubes and it turned out that the right one was OK and in the left, there was a small blockage and they could correct it.  The doctor says I am doing pretty good considering the mess he saw inside.  There is no sign of adhesions and although I still get hot flashes and feel a little tired in the evening, I feel fine.  The doctor says now to try to get pregnant ASAP.

Again thanks and good luck!!!!

Take care,

I had a Lap and 6mos of Lupron and then another Lap.  It did not work for me and I HATED it.  It works different for everyone............ I hope you have success and your Endo is controlled.

Hi there.  I just got a 3-month Lupron injection in January and I had an ultrasound done last week, which shows no signs of endometriosis or adhesions, and no endometrioma on my left ovary.  Now, I still have some side effects from the injection, like hot flashes and a little tiredness around this time of the day, but they are minimum.  The doctor checked me out a few days ago and told me I was doing OK.  He wants to make a test to see the tubes and if it is possible I can get pregnant.

Hope everything works out for you.

Take care,

Neta

Hi there.  I was operated last December due to the presence of a 6 cm cyst of unknown etiology.  What the doctor found was an endometrioma and did washings and drained the endometrioma, but he didn't remove anything and I was given afterwards the 3-month Lupron shot to control the endometrosis and improve my fertility.  Almost 5 months after, there is no sign of endometriosis and there is no cyst in my left ovary.

I had some side effects of the shot, hot flashes, a little headache and insomnia, but I in general, I feel OK.  I still have some side effects, but the doctor says they will disappear in month or so.  In my opinion, it is worth getting the shot and it was also given to me to see if I still can have kids.

Best wishes,

Neta

sorry to hear about your problems, i was the same, horrendus pain at period time. The shot is not that pleasent, you will get hot flushes mine are quite severe, i have mild headadches and slight weight gain, and my body aches alot. But it does take away the endo pain in fact its amazing at taking away the pain, id rather have the side effects than the pain from endometriosis. You can have hrt tablets to lessen the side effects but this lessend it to much for me and my periods started again hence pain come back. It periods wont stop properly until 2nd or 3rd shot. But i would highly recommend it if your in alot of pain. hope this helps.
