i think i have endometriosis

i have had painful periods ever since i was 11 years. and over time the pain and the heavy bleeding got worse. i was put on bcp at age eight where it did not help with the pain or stop the heavy bleeding. i was also experiencing painful intercourse. and my doctor tested my for sexually transmitted infections that came back negative. then i was put on norethindrone and went to PT which did help the  pain for a couple months then i experienced horrible side effects. i was having headaches, chest pain, and there was rashes on my face. so i came off the pill and all the symptoms disappeeared. i brought to my obgyn's attention and she told he couldn't have been the hormones and gave me a higher dose of a different brand of progesterone. i didn't have any headaches but i did have really bad nausea that didn't go away. so i stopped taking it. when i first had my period again it was super painful again and heavy and this time i was passing fleshy tissue with huge blood clots. it continued to be like this until my cycles started to be irregular to where i would be a week late on my periods now. and i would have my period and still passing tissue. i went back to my doctor. i told her what has been happening and she suggested to go back on the pills and i said no way. so she did an ultrasound, said i don't have any cysts on my ovaries, my uterus is retroverted, and there was a little bit of fluid behind my uterus which she couldn't tell if it was from a ruptured cysts or from after ovulation. i get pain outside my periods and its driving me crazy. my doctor agreed in doing surgery but it was an argument of her worrying about  me coming at her if i don't get better and she just seemed unconformable about doing the surgery period. i need help finding a doctor who knows what they are doing in removing endometriosis if it is there..i posted a journal entry in full detail of my journey with chronic pelvic pain if you want to read it and fully understand. maybe you can help me out if you can relate to my situation. please can someone help me?

I was going say I don't know of anyone being on BCP at 8!!! LOL..

To me it sounds very possible that this is endometriosis from these particular things that you have said.

-Pain started at 11
-Fluid behind the uterus which most likely is the cul de sac and that is an indicator of Endo but not everyone has that.
-Retroverted uterus is also something that is very common with people that have endo from the scar tissue pulling it back or forward however some doctors say that is normal, which it may be but I do find this a very common thing with Endo patients,

That being said as someone who is listening and hearing everything you are saying I would def push for someone who specializes in the disease. I didn't have a cyst (Endometrioma) grow until I was 26 after childbirth and my pain started at 13.

Tell me where abouts you are and I can lead you to some great surgeons.
