I had a lap last year, I am 34 years old and just married 3 mos ago. It was about a week before I felt somewhat better but almost 2 weeks until I was normal. I had a lot of pain and soreness for the first week, so dont push yourself too hard, abdomenal surgeries are always more painful than others. They diagnosed with me Endo stage 3 and now Im freaking out about getting pregnant and I am still in a great deal of pain on a daily basis.
My Fr told me 2 days, but there was no way i could work for a week, but every day i could see a difference. Make sure you have a BM, Get a laxative if you have to and drinks lots of water. Also watch for infection and use peroxide if they start to look bad
Thanks! I feel better today, but I am sure it will be at least a week before I am able to move around like normal. Not very hungry though, I have to force myself to eat
I had a lap done two weeks ago. I figured I would be up and moving in a couple of days, but I didn't fully feel up to it for about a week. I was in bed for the first two days and then tried to walk as much as I could, but wasn't much. The meds kept me down quite a bit. I still have some pain, but I am finally able to get back to normal activity. Just take it easy and get as much rest as you can, you'll be feeling better soon!!
