I've had 4 laps all together, 3 of them for endo and one to remove my gallbladder..never had the symptoms that you're describing. My biggest problem is usually constipation, not diarrhea. However, blood in the stool is never a good thing and should definitely be checked out by your doctor. The only time that there might be blood in the stool without a lot of concern is if you have hemorrhoids and they're inflamed. I'd certainly check it out. My doc found that my right over is adhered to my colon when he did my last lap and he left it that way, he was afraid that he'd puncture my colon if he tried to remove the adhesion. He said that it wasn't a big problem and unless I started having trouble out of it and changes in my bowel movements it was best to just leave it alone.
I didnt have any vaginal bleeding after the surgery, everyone is different. I went directly on lupron and that supresses it. There is a possiblity that he may have nicked the bowel and there is a problem so i would definitely get in to see him right away. Good luck with the appointment and let me know how it goes.
I havent really talked with my doctor since the surgery. My mom was with me and she said the doctor told her that he removed all the endo and had to move some of my organs because they were being pushed by the cysts and the endo. Whats strange is I havent had hardly any vaginal bleeding. I called my doctor and they got me an appointment for tomm. I'm very confused my doctor never mentioned this when he was describing the procedure.
Have you tried calling your doctor yet? After my lap i had severe pain all over expecually my bladder. You didnt say if they removed the endo from your bowel or not. I dont think its good to have any kind of blood in your bowel, expecually after surgery. My advice would to be to call your doctor.
