so fed up!

I was diagnosed with endo after a laproscopy about a year ago. Now on triptorlin injections which send you into the menopause with add on hrt. Also on antibiotics for painful bladder syndrome after a cystocopy which showed bleeding in the bladder and invoves me going to the toilet often!. Still having period after 4 months on triptorlin. Consultant now sending me for a coloscopy next week as they think that they could have missed something. Has anyone else still had bleeding whilst on triptorlin ? feeling very fed up as have the full menospuasul symptoms and the injection is not working. would love someone just to chat to or anyone who can help. My endo is behind the ovaries and in the pouch of douglas (Bowel). chat please xx

They don't want to do laproscopy because of 2 previous abdominal operations.  Mainly because of the large incision for ulcerative colitis plus I had a c-section.  Gyno doesn't think he can get through.  They keep sending me to gastro which finally the gastro told me he thinks my bowel in kinking off due to adhesions and there is nothing they can do I have to live with this.  More surgery would mean more adhesions, no win situation.

I did depot lupron for 5 months and it completely got rid of my pain for 2 years. It was worth the rough months of menopaus and I now have a 2 year old son! Good luck to you I know this is a rough road. It doesn't get any easier as I had a mc after my son and now have to go in for another laproscopy since ttc for a year since mc.

Not fun at all honey. Think you might need a laproscopy to see if you have endo before they treat you for it! Why do they keep sending you to gastro. Its so hard when you feel unwell all the time. xxx

I feel your pain sweetie, that's really awful about bleeding for 4 months.  My gyno wants me to try depo lepron which puts you in menopause not so sure I want to take it after reading this.  I have been bouncing between gyno and gastro for 5 months now and still I feel sick.  Not sure if I have endo or not but have persistant cysts.  It's really not fun is it.
