About seizure and why get them so late in life.?

About seizure and why get them so late in life.?

I want to know about seizure and how scar tissue could have  been the cause of them.  Also Why did they show up so late? what to do to get rid of it?.I never had seizure till I was around middle 40's Why

There aren't any clear answers to your questions. The brain is not well understood at this point. Did you have a brain scan (PET, MRI, CT) that showed a lesion or other damage? Many people with seizure disorders have normal brain scans, and some have normal EEGs too.

Depending on the type of seizure disorder you have, there are various ways to reduce the frequency and severity of seizures. Anti-seizure medication (Keppra, Lamictal, Trileptal, etc.) are commonly used. Avoiding seizure triggers, which for some people include bright or flashing light, is helpful. Talk to your doctor about these and other options, and check with the Epilepsy Foundation (epilepsyfoundation.org) for more information.
