Hi Cindy while I do not know all the medical ins and outs I began to have seizures in 2001 age 47. Prior to the full seizures I had experienced these absence seizures. (not such a clever thin to do) In my early school days I must have had a few such absence episodes but not understanding it I did not speak of it fearing that I would be accused of not concentrating. I know how annoying they can be and wish you all the best as you continue to get the medical control but remember that there are many out there who do understand and share your questions
