Correct medication

Correct medication

To treat myself, I am taking levetiracetam 500 mg twice a day. Recently I read that levetiracetam is taken with other medication and not as a stand alone to treat epilepsy.

Is it true? Am i taking the right treatment?

I am taking Levetiracetam for Epilepsy and have had great results. I have had no " Daydream" episodes, I no longer get the shakes (like my body is craving for something) and I feel better in myself. The only other tablet I take is Melatonin and that is to help me sleep due to my other illness.
I was put on this by a consultant neurologist, so to be honest i wouldn't worry, but seek advice from a doctor just to reassure yourself.
