Seizures or Not

My one year old has periods of muscle overtone where she crosses her legs and tenses up. She draws her fists into her eyes and holds tight. For period of time after she has difficulty walking or standing, very weak in the legs. Sometimes she cries. She was in the hospital for 3 days and nothing. Eeg came back normal and the MRI and cat. I heard something about a t3 mri. Is it out yet? The neuro team says they do not think it is seizures. She has these episodes about once a month.

If the neuro says its not seizures.  it could be NEAD (Non Epileptic attack disorder).  

Looks the same as seizures.  

If not, ask for a second opinion.  

was it a normal eeg or a sleep deprived one.  

Mine didnt get picked up until i had the sleep deprived eeg.  

As having lack of sleep is a trigger.
