As I've gotten older, I've noticed that during these episodes my movements have become more sluggish and difficult to control - more often I have to simply sit down wherever I am because I don't have enough time to grab onto something. Recently I suffered an especially severe attack where I fell down immediately and my hands and feet began to twitch uncontrollably. Afterwards I was very tired, which has never been the case before.
I doubt that these are seizures, or at least certainly not any kind I have had any personal experience with, as I remain consciously aware the entire time. In fact I might never have even worried about these episodes at all if it weren't for the fact that the symptoms suddenly seem to be escalating in severity.
I haven't been able to find anything specifically related to my situation, so I was wondering if anyone here could shed some light on what my problem might be. Am I worrying over nothing?
I am not a doctor so basicly I know "nothing" other than from my own experiences. I do know that there seems to be more different types of seizures than you can imagine. If I was you, I would go see a neurologist. What you are describing sounds like a seizure.
