My fiancee took me to a local hospital and they prescibed me lorazepam. Then they sent me home. ( I only had 5-6 seizures by that time. ) When I started having more he called the ER to let them know he wanted to bring me in and have me admitted. They told him that there was nothing they could do for me and that I needed a neurologist. Obviously.
I'm just curious because I thought the 5-6 would be enough that they would admit me and do intravenious meds, or at least monitor me. I'm I wrong to think this? Anyone have these experiances?
