Very desperate....absence seizure???????

Im not sure if this is the right forum, but I'll try here first. My son is 5 and on 4 different meds for adhd and bipolar. He also has a sleep disorder that he takes meds for. Within the last 6 months, he seems to stare into space and not respond even when you call his name or touch him. He does rub his fingers together and rapidly blinks. He also walks around the house as if he is looking for something, but does so repeativly. This can happen anywhere from 10 to 30 time a day. These episodes really don't last that long. I think the longest was at daycare and that was about 5 minutes. As I said, he just sits, stands, etc. with a blank stare. What is wrong with my son? Could it be absence seizures? Somebody PLEASE help, I am a very desprite mother searching for possible answers.
