wow ! thats alot of dilantin. i take 400mgs a day . i never had a problem with falling i wish i could sleep. does she have problems with her gums swelling ,it makes your gums bleed and swell. my neuro told me he was going to change my dilantin to another med, because dilantin weakens your bones ,been on dilantin for 23 yrs now. have your mother in law to ask about her taking that much and how it affects her bones. how long has she taken 900mgs of dilantin ? i was shocked when my neuro informed it caused bone loss. take care.
