epilepsy and judo

My seizures are mostly controlled with meds and VNS therapy.  I study chinese kung fu.  Part of my cirriculum is judo.  Many years ago I had my right temporal lobe removed in an attempt to stop the seizures.  I'm not supposed to play sports like football because of the high head injury risk.  Is judo too risky for me?  Falls are important to the class, but one never takes blows to the head and falls are always softened by judo mats (and proper fall technique).  Thanks.
