My name is Paola  I'm 21 years old, and I am a mother of a girl 2 year old.

Antonella, my daughter, was born on November 21, 2007 in Piura city. Was normal part, and since the doctor told me she had the cordon around her neck two laps, he use bacum.

Around day number six Antonella began to convulsions. Their seizures were very strange, were not the typical, in fact, not many known.

The pediatrician told me that maybe was a product of their normal movements because of the immature neurological system that maybe the three months were going to yield.

Not according to that answer I went to a neurologist, (unfortunately had to be adult in that city since there is no neurologist pediatrician) to see her, he recommended a magnetic resonance so I had to take her to Lima.
In the twelve day Antonella arrived in Lima.

She was Internees in the clinic since she the doctor said I had to see that internally until they found what was happened to her.

Antonella was interned a month, we send to USA metabolic analysis, analysis of spongiform ence oblongata liquid sent to Chile, and all the analysis possible in Peru. 3 magnetic resonances which have come out normal acourding to her neurologist, but in the infrom, say alot of things but she say (her neurologist) that its nothing.

Antonella did not have anything, it was a normal girl and wondered why the convulsions.

She was going to take a test that was called Expect brain, but the anesthetist ho was uncharged of Antonella almost kill her, she was more than five minutes without oxygen and purple, she choke with anesthesia. The exam was cancel, and after that time Antonella fell again.

the tip of convulsions that she used to do they call them salvos of these salvos could do 70 continue to do so for forty minutes or more

My daughter use to received medication as valproic acid, Phenobarbital, Clonazepan, among others, nothing stops these seizures. it is currently using a new medicine that has controlled (apparently) seizures, I say apparently, because she has had two strong fells which have led her brink of death, while convulsed drowned and could not breathe, no could mourn, or swallow, or defecate, and any little advance that she could have it was lost.

Antonella already has 2 years and still not fixed head, thus not feel, no wheel, no crawls, much less walk. Does not carry the items to his mouth and don’t play whit toys because it can not completely recognize them and grabbed them-
Her brain does not send the order to grab objects
,she learned to smile at the age of five months , and to recognize something and fix the gaze at 7 almost 8 month clear that not even fix well and one eye always tends to go the other way .

Antonella doctors said they were likely to fail a year and that if he did his quality of life was going to end perhaps as a vegetable, now Antonella is 2 years old, and she have to be able of having more! I need to help my kid

Doctors recommended take her abroad to do various studies, either Brazil or USA; unfortunately I can not afford a trip for experiments for saying like that.

I dream of one day find the reason of his illness and that it exceeds a girl who can walk, laugh, talk and be more of a girl running through the parks and playing on the beach

I just want to find a pize of the puzzle so we can’t end this dream, and the day that we will weak up, Antonella will be running and riding her bicycle

please I’m begging you help me to save my daughter I can not see her died

I have all her 3 magnetic resonaces in dvds, if someone knows some neurologist and please tell my case ask him/her, if she/he, can see her dvds, i just want other opinion out of peru, to see if maby they see something in this magnetic resonances that doctors here in peru havent seen, i have more than 2 years living with out any answers, i can send this dvds to any part of the world by courrier, please if someone can hlp me .... i speak spanish and english eaven its not very good,  please tell my story to everyone maby smeone can help me, im desesperate, i dont know what to, do, i fell like im in a hold and i dont know how to get out, i apeciate your help thanks

I am so sorry .  I am not a Doctor but these things up and see if they make seance to you landau kleffner syndrome    and    Lennox Gastaut Syndrome  

also go on line to the Epilepsy Foundation they have a lot of info and places where to can write also and maybe someone there could help you.
