Welcome! We do have a epilepsy forum here that has lots of information on it. I know first hand that epilepsy can be hard to deal with. I have a 7 yr old with a rare form of epilepsy called lennox gastaut syndrome. I wonder if your epilepsy was caused by a accident or something else? Do you know what caused it? What are the symptoms of your seizures? My son takes grand- mal, absent, and myoclonic seizures. He also has partial seizures throughout his brain. He can constantly feel his brain moving as he would say. The doctor that you saw didn't tell you what type of epilepsy that you have? That would be very odd. There are more than the 3 or 4 seizures types than I've listed. If you want to, google epilepsy and that should bring up all the general information you need. Then when you find the type of seizures you take, you can research it more. Good luck and take care. If you have anymore questions, you can always ask and I'll try to help as much as possible.
